Breastfeeding and Postpartum Preparation Class
As not only a Postpartum Doula, but also a Lactation Educator, we are excited to offer this class to our community. This will be a two night class (June 3rd and 4th) 6:30-8:30pm. We will be teaching everything you need to know to be prepared for breastfeeding, our top product recommendations, basic infant care, bottle feeding, pumping, partner support, emotional and physical postpartum care expectations, and more! Partners will be welcome and encouraged to attend with you.

The class is held in Dani's home in Salem area of Virginia Beach. We love that we can provide an intimate setting to educate new families and keep it real about breastfeeding and postpartum expectations! A workbook, resources, and refreshments will be provided. Breastfeeding Class- Night 1
The first night of our class, we will be teaching about all things breastfeeding. We will be teaching and demonstrating everything you need to know about feeding positions, proper latch, establishing milk supply, partner support and more! If your goal is to breastfeed, you don't want to miss this class to be best prepared going into your breastfeeding journey! Partners are welcome and encouraged to attend with you!
Postpartum Preparation and Infant Care Class- Night 2
During our second class we will teach you everything you need to know to be prepared going into your postpartum period. We will be teaching how and when to use a breast pump, baby routine, bottle feeding, breastmilk storage guidelines, preparing for the hospital, and postpartum care expectations- both emotional and physical. We will also teach basic infant care such as swaddling, diapering basics, bathing, caring for the umbilical cord, and soothing techniques. Partners are welcome and encouraged to attend with you!
