Overnights were the BEST!I cannot say enough great things about Laurie Ann and Dani. I wish I would've known about Laurie Ann with my first baby. What a difference in everything especially breastfeeding and confidence. LA was there within hours after delivery and to support me my first night home, always available over the phone to check in and endless texts. Every mom needs Laurie Ann in their life! She was my biggest cheerleader and I owe her all the credit for me being so successful with my goals. | WORTH the InvestmentI think starting with a hospital visit is so important and then the overnights were crucial as well as the others. ALL by Virtual SupportI can completely understand why new moms quit breastfeeding. It is so hard! But because of LA’s help, I feel so confident and glad I can feed my daughter with the best food for her. Not only did Laurie Ann help me with breastfeeding, she answered so many other questions about poop, belly buttons, rashes, and so much more. She was also an amazing support system and reassured me that I am the best mom for my baby. Being a new mom is so emotional, and she knew exactly what I needed. All by video! | MORE than Expected"I remember questioning every day until my milk came in (I think it was day 5 or 6) or if I even had milk. BUT this week, we just got a extra freezer for all my extra milk! I would just say that it’s super stressful during that waiting period but to keep the faith, listen to Laurie Ann's guidance, lean on your partner for help, and that you’ll look back and be SO thankful you stuck to it!" - Kristy | Early Arrival #3When Sophia arrived almost 2 months early, our family of 5 was TIRED and worn out from the travels to the hospital and needed support. Our busy schedule made sleep close to impossible with round the clock pumping and feeding in addition to summer activities with two preschoolers. I was so relieved to have overnight care for me and my baby. - tired mom of 3 |

Reaching my goalsI thought I walked into motherhood relatively prepared, but there was so much I didn't realize as I quickly became overwhelmed. With Laurie Ann's services I was able to reach my breastfeeding goals, develop a routine, and ultimately provided us the reassurance we were not alone; she was with us every step of the way. I am grateful she gave my husband and I the rest we needed to get off to a great start with our new family. I will be recommending her to every new and expectant mom I know! - Liz | When our baby came early, so did the ChallengesAfter having complications during pregnancy and then preeclampsia, we thought we were ready for a pre-term baby. With Laurie Ann's virtual and face to face services, before and after our baby arrived, I was able to build and establish a milk supply as my baby learned and gained strength. Laurie Ann offered daily encouragement as we made several trips to the hospital. This was just the reassurance I needed to know, I am the best mom for my baby. | More than ExpectedWe were looking for postpartum support as a Dutch family from the Netherlands, like we received with our first son. Now, living in Norfolk with family and friends far away we viewed several websites Laurie Ann’s profile gave us the best feeling. When she served us, she totally lived up to and exceeded our expectations.
The overnight and visit package was great for my husband to catch up on some sleep, and for me to have an expert in breastfeeding to be there for me. LA goes above and beyond. |

In person or Not, she has you backLaurie Ann was recommended by a friend after seeing how we were struggling to enjoy our newborn. I couldn’t be more grateful for the services. At 2 weeks postpartum, I felt so alone, sleep deprived, and like I was an unfit mother because I didn’t understand what my baby needed. I was a bit skeptical about her virtual services since she was across the country. She helped us with EVERY concern we had, and most of all she provided us with confidence. If you’re a struggling Laurie Ann can help. | shared GoalsI am so thankful that a friend referred me to Laurie Ann for her wide range of services. I knew it was the right decision after our first call, when she set me at ease with her calming yet encouraging attitude, and her wealth of knowledge. She made a point to understand our goals and find ways to help us reach them. The most beneficial service for us was sharing best practices for basic newborn care and providing customized recommendations plus solutions for bathing, milk production. - Kendall | Virtual Sleep CoachingUtterly sleepless nights and zombie like days are what finally drove me to seek help in getting my second son to sleep both day and night. Unfortunately due to the pandemic we were unable to utilize Laurie Ann Finn’s full overnight visits. She was so understanding of my fears; with daily FaceTime calls, regular text messages, and emails consisting of a sleep plan, notes, and constant encouragement, I began to have the techniques and confidence in myself as a mom to help my little guy sleep. |

Peace & Painless BreastfeedingLaurie Ann acted as family and so much more to calm my anxieties and support my breastfeeding goals surrounding the birth of my second son. Each call I had with Laurie Ann leading up to the delivery she put my mind more at ease. Although we could not have any visitors in the hospital we had 3 Facetime calls which made all the difference in teaching me the proper techniques to breastfeed without pain, something I never achieved with my first son. Mask on she cooked, cared for both my sons. | Pandemic Blessing"When our baby was born in the midst of the pandemic, we had several virtual calls from the hospital to ensure we were off to a good start with breast-feeding. Then the first night home Laurie Ann was with us so that my husband could get a good night sleep in a separate bedroom and she took great care of me and Baby. We know we have been very successful through this transition due to Laurie Ann’s availability. Her empathy and compassion throughout our experience has been invaluable." Christina | Erica and Dani + babiesI have known Laurie Ann for what feels like my whole life. She and my mom have been best friends which meant I grew up with her children. With my 1st child 2.5 years ago she gave me the support I needed to breastfeed and she just did it again. Without her and now her daughter/my friend Dani I probably would have quit because I didn't have the support or confidence to breastfeed. I thought I could do the breastfeeding journey on my own because I’ve already done it once. Every baby is different. |

Pump for Milk productionElora’s mom wrote, “I had a really hard time with breastfeeding and I’m almost sure I would have given up by now or at least not known the right steps to continue successfully forward, but Laurie Ann was instrumental in making it a successful experience for us. When we arrived home from the hospital after my unplanned C-section, I thought about being told, “it will come naturally” and “you will know what to do” but I did NOT. Thankfully, I connected with Laurie Ann completely through virtual services despite being hundreds of miles apart. Although never in the “same” room, she taught us feeding techniques, tools/equipment use, plus caring for myself. After just 10 days I am amazed at my milk production and confidence I have because of her. | Sleep for ChristmasLaurie Ann came to us at a time where we desperately needed someone to help us. Breastfeeding is Naturalbut it does not come naturally.I had no idea how challenging breastfeeding would be. Laurie Ann came to the hospital the day my baby was born and helped me with the first few feedings. And I’m so glad she did: I did NOT know what I was doing. She taught me how to hold my baby so that she would latch properly, how to keep up my milk supply, how to properly empty my breasts to prevent infection, and encouraged me to keep going when I was ready to give up. I couldn’t have done it without Laurie Ann | Best Decision"One of the best decisions we made in my pregnancy was hiring the services of a postpartum doula. Laurie Ann has been amazing since the day Jane arrived. In the face of a Hurricane"My first child arrived unexpectedly via c-section hours before Hurricane Dorian arrived. So I was all the more relieved and grateful when Laurie Ann arrived to spend that first night in the hospital with me. She kept me focused on what was important - feeding my baby. Thanks to Laurie Ann's experience, take-charge style of coaching, and continuing support, we have had a much better start at breastfeeding and life with a new baby in general. I am so glad she was on my team." - Anne | Exclusive BreastfeedingWe recommend that you take the leap & set up Laurie Ann's services ahead of delivery, so you have her immediate support. I feel that the quick establishment & encouragement of good breastfeeding technique and wake/sleep habits is what set us on the right course. Our son is exclusively breastfed, so we had to give extra attention to ensure that he didn't lose much weight and stayed hydrated in the first days of life. Without Laurie Ann's coaching I'm not sure this would've been this successful. | Breast to FormulaLaurie Ann was absolutely amazing when we brought our son home! We didn’t know we needed a doula, as we did not have a natural birth or anything, but found out there was a such thing as a postpartum doula to help and be there for mom! Whether it was allowing me to take naps, helping with dishes, etc. She helped a ton, and also did an overnight stay with us so we could get a good nights rest. She was a big help when we were transitioning our baby from breastfeeding to formula. |

YOU DON’T know what...Laurie Ann supported my family through providing breastfeeding guidance, staying overnight with us to teach us breastfeeding positioning while providing rest, she helped with meals, and provided emotional support. The hospital visit was very helpful with early breastfeeding techniques made transitioning into breastfeeding successful!
We were unsure of the services that would be needed; she said "You don't know what you don't know", but boy, was she right!
Stephen and Jennifer | Emotional Support"Laurie Ann Finn helped me emotionally and physically after I had my baby. She is the most kindest and down to earth woman you could meet. You cannot put a price tag on that relief, advice and care she offers while you are dealing from exhaustion, hormones and a crying baby!!! Would recommend her 1000 %. " Callie W. | Kitchen CleanupDuring the Overnight, one of my services includes light housekeeping. The first place I usually start is the kitchen. It is amazing how revitalizing a clean sink and an empty dishwasher can be to a new family. |

Like Mary Poppins!"She swoops in and provides loving, nonjudgmental advice and support. Did you have a wedding planner? Invest hundreds to have a neutral coordinator to make sure your day went smoothly? Even though you had help from your mom, sisters and friends? This is similar. Coordinating a new baby coming home is ALOT of preparation to adjust to your new normal. Laurie Ann helps to set you up for success!" - Elliot's mom | Set up for success..."because of Laurie Ann. She taught best breastfeeding routines, maximizing the amount of sleep, protecting your marriage from resentment (you know this is real second time moms), making sure you are healthy by getting enough food and preventing breastfeeding issues like engorgement or a poor latch. And the best part is, you make the investment now and the skills she teaches you can be applied forever!" - Krystle | Just in time"My only regret was not having you there with me in the first couple days. But, when I needed you it was so nice to see that you made yourself available and ready to help me with the very new and scary job of breastfeeding. After days of not knowing whether my sweet boy will ever latch and stay latched to get enough food straight from the source, or knowing much about breast feeding at all, you came to the rescue and helped us get him latch in a couple hours." She gave us piece of mind with whatever we needed. Including, teaching my wife how to nurse our baby better, how to bath our new baby, and even helped us with duties around the house. We have learned parenting can be exhausting. Her services allowed us take some breathers during the initial few weeks which helped the process be less overwhelming. Jim | After AdoptionThe first 12 days of our little ones's life was spent in her birth mother's home state on the other side of the country; so when we were finally given approval to return to Virginia, the adrenaline was starting to wear off and the exhaustion from sleep deprivation started to sink in. Just two days after we returned home, Laurie Ann came to our home for an overnight visit and what a lifesaver it was! It is amazing what one good night's sleep can do for you! ...Jackie |
